About the artist

Raised in Russia and now forging her path as an independent artist in the United States, Yelena brings a unique international perspective with a subtle Slavic flavor. Since childhood, she has been fascinated by Slavic folktales and Greek mythology. In many ways, her life reflects the classic traits of a mythic hero’s journey. In search of her true identity, Yelena explored many different paths: from youth theatre to professional sports such as badminton, becoming a national Taekwon-Do champion, training young athletes, studying to become a nurse, and later immigrating to another country and working as a dental assistant. Each detour ultimately led her back to the beginning, where she realized that her North Star had always been there - she was meant to be on stage.

Yelena & The Fates possesses a voice that is both haunting and luminous - a call to dreamers, seekers, and those drawn to the unknown. Her latest work, “Initium”, delves into themes of fate, personal evolution, and the delicate balance between free will and destiny.
